Where can I find information on current topics, debates or pro/con issues?

Answer

We recommend using the database, CQ Researcher. It can be accessed by going to the Library's A-Z Databases and select the letter C.

CQ Researcher provides comprehensive overviews, data tables, and graphs, chronology, pro-con starter, lists major research and advocacy groups.

Another valuable source is the non-profit website, www.Procon.org.

We also recommend visiting the Library's Research Strategies guide and view the Exploring Online Resources page for more recommendations on locating trending topics.
