Is plagiarism the same in all cultures? Do different cultures view plagiarism differently?
Answer
Many researchers found that cultural attitudes affect plagiarism rates and perspectives across the globe (Amos, 1; Heitman, 2). With varying cultural views on plagiarizing, Strayer University requires learners to be sure they understand ethical writing basics and the consequences of plagiarizing within our academic community.
