The Online Research Portal has more than one way to find company information. You can choose between the Basic Search and the options on the Databases page. Here are a few tips on finding different kinds of information.
- You can use the Basic Search to look for a SWOT analysis on a certain company. For example, if you wanted a current SWOT analysis of Apple, Inc. you could search "SWOT Apple".
- Nexis Uni includes the Company Dossier, a company search tool which gathers news, competitors, reports, SEC filings, and more. Check out the link below for more information.
- Statista and IBISWorld contain company reports and industry trends. Discover these detailed sources with our library guides and video demos.
Our Recordings page has a tab for Database demonstrations that has in-depth videos on several of these options, as well.
