Q. How do I cite a chart?

How do I cite a table?

Answer

Charts, images, and tables should be centered horizontally on the page and should be followed by an in-text citation placed below. When referring to it in the assignment, use the citation.

Do not include a chart, image, or table without introducing it in the assignment and explaining why it is necessary.

If you are missing any of the required Source items, indicate as below:

  • If no author, write "No author."
  • If no date, "No date."
  • If no title, "No title."
  • If no page number, you do not need to write anything because this is optional
  • If no link to the source, provide other information on how it can be located
