I don’t have time to read an entire book or eBook. Why would I want to use one for my research?
How can I use a book for research without reading the entire thing? How do I cite a chapter of an eBook.
Answer
A book inherently provides more depth and detail than an article. Additionally, you don't need to read an entire book to cite a portion of it. The table of contents and index are useful in deciding what parts to read. Just as you might only read one article in a journal or magazine, you might only read one section or chapter of a book.
Remember that, anytime you use someone else's ideas, you must cite your source!
Here's an example source list entry for only one part of an eBook.
