How do I cite a document from work?
How do I write a citation for something missing a URL? What if my resource doesn't have a website link?
Answer
Sometimes, you may use sources that are not openly accessible. To write a SWS source list entry for this type of source, provide the author’s name (if created by you, provide your name), date, and the title.
For the final part of the source list entry, write a simple phrase or sentence noting how to find it or the original location.
Example:
ABC Inc H R Department. 2018. Guide for Managers. This is a job aid available through the company's intranet.
When using a resource not openly available or provided by Strayer, use your best judgment in whether it is appropriate.
