What is a Mind Map?

What is Mind Mapping?

Answer

A Mind Map is a graphical representation of an idea including related concepts associated with that topic. Our Credo Reference database offers a mind map feature to explore related idea. Mind mapping is also an idea for organizing your research strategy during the writing process.

Our Online Research Portal offers a similar research tool called a Concept Map, a visual representation of your topic and related topics. The Concept Map tool facilitates exploring new, related topics which offer alternative search terms to use in your search. After you explore and add topics to your search, click "See Full Results" which will take you to a results list with sources based on the topics you added from the concept map.
