Where can I find a DOI?

Where are DOIs located?

Answer

DOI stands for digital object identifier. They allow researchers to find the same resources at different libraries. If a database records a DOI, it is listed along with author, publication date, and other bibliographic information. You can also check the first page of the resource. If you cannot find the DOI in either location, it is unlikely the resource has one.
